As seen on multiple occasions, Josh has an extraordinary ability to de-escalate stressful situations and manage code yellows with skill and composure, without ever making it seem like an effort. His calm demeanor and quick thinking in these high-pressure situations are nothing short of remarkable.  

What truly sets Josh apart, though, is the genuine empathy he brings to every patient interaction. He takes the time to truly understand the needs and emotions of each patient, handling even the hardest situations with kindness and humanity. His ability to bring calm, comfort and reassurance to patients and their families is deeply impactful and speaks to his exceptional character.  

Josh recently encountered my mother and me in the SCH ED. After she had fallen and was understandably upset, he treated her with such care and respect that she felt like a VIP. My mom was genuinely touched by the warm, family-like atmosphere we cultivate at St. Catherine.

I am deeply grateful for extraordinary nurses like Josh.
