Josie Hansen, RN

I would like to recognize an exceptional nurse, Josie, who cared for my mother during her Emergency Department admission. From the moment we met her, Josie was compassionate, professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. During such a frightening and emotional time for our family, she made us feel heard, supported, and reassured. It was evident that she truly loves what she does and is passionate about providing the best possible care to her patients. Josie consistently went above and beyond to ensure my mother was comfortable and that all our questions and concerns were addressed. Her kindness, patience, and dedication did not go unnoticed.

What touched us the most was that even after my mother was admitted to the ICU, Josie took the time to come upstairs before the end of her shift just to check on her one last time. That simple act of compassion meant more to our family than words can express. Nurses like Josie make an incredible difference in patients' lives and their families'. She deserves recognition for her outstanding care, professionalism, and heartfelt compassion. We are deeply grateful for everything she did for my mother, and we hope she receives the recognition she so richly deserves.
