Josie Rieves, RN

My husband passed away at the end of January. He died from COVID-19 complications. He was only 51. As bad as this has been for our family we take comfort in knowing Josie is the one that took care of him. I spent a month in the hospital with my mom in 2019 but Josie is the best, most caring nurse we have ever had! We became so attached to her. My husband, myself, and our children. She is now considered part of our family. She is absolutely the best nurse I’ve ever known! She described everything in full before doing anything or giving meds. She answered every question I asked - and believe me there were a bunch! St Bernard’s is so lucky to have her. If anyone deserves an award it is Josie… even if it’s for compassion alone because she definitely has that!
