Josie Wadsworth, RN

Throughout our hospital stay, we were treated with good, quality care from everyone. However, one of the nurses that made my daughter feel at ease was nurse Josie. Josie’s charisma and personality make you feel, as a patient, at ease knowing that you can feel comfortable asking for assistance or clarification from your health care provider. Josie made a connection with my daughter (patient) in the way she addressed her. She was very caring and compassionate when she would stop by and check on my daughter’s well-being. She also expressed attention to detail in one of her check-ups by checking more than just vitals; she also checked other little things that could be bothering my daughter. Josie was also very empathetic, and you can tell that she showed empathy for her patients by making an effort to put herself in their shoes. She treats her patients with a person-centered care approach rather than just following routines and guidelines. We were very fortunate to have nurse Josie, who was very caring and compassionate and, with her charisma, gave my daughter a better care experience and recovery stay in the hospital.
