Not only does he resolve nursing-related matters, but I could also rely on him for guidance regarding medical records, biomedical topics, finance, and supply chain processes.
I have known Josué since the day I joined the Electronic Medical Record project. From the very first moment I arrived and was introduced to him, he was always kind and welcoming. He introduced me to his team, and every single one of them received me warmly and made me feel included. As we began working on system configurations and sessions related to the electronic medical record, we covered a range of topics, and Josué and his team were always present. He was one of the people who continuously trained me, guided me, and included me throughout the process. Coming from an administrative background, I was unfamiliar with many medical and hospital-related terms. Josué is an incredibly knowledgeable person. Not only does he resolve nursing-related matters, but I could also rely on him for guidance regarding medical records, biomedical topics, finance, and supply chain processes. He is prepared to answer virtually any question I may have had.
Over these past months in the project, he has truly been my lifeline. Being new to an area so closely connected to hospital operations, his support has meant a great deal to me. I am usually based at the project offices, but whenever I needed to be at the hospital, Josué took the time to guide me, show me around different departments, and help me understand the environment, even though it was not something he was obligated to do. While working on configurations, Josué relied on me just as I relied on him. I consider him an exceptional person, someone who helped me from day one. We complemented each other very well because of his extensive knowledge in biomedical engineering and supply chain topics, areas he masters, and in which he has continuously guided me. He has also been one of the key people supporting other leaders throughout the electronic medical record implementation, alongside his nursing team, who are all outstanding professionals working beside him.
What makes Josué truly special is that he never keeps knowledge to himself. He encourages others to continue learning not only within his own team but also among physicians, supply chain personnel, and everyone involved in the project. He always looks for ways to support people, help them grow, and make them feel included. He does not only unite his own team; he brings all of us together. To me, Josué and his team are among the most capable professionals involved in the electronic medical record project. They are a multifunctional team that learns not just one area, but understands and contributes to multiple processes across the organization. Josué is essential to this project because the goal of this initiative is to create knowledge multipliers, and with someone as valuable as him, that becomes possible. He deserves this recognition for the person he is: a true leader, someone who inspires others, someone who extends a hand when you need it, someone who helps you grow, and someone who genuinely stays by your side.
