Jouse is a hardworking, kind, and extremely compassionate nurse. Among the many qualities that I admire in her is her dedication to the nursing team. We can always count on her to lend a hand when we are short-staffed. No matter how busy or difficult her own workload is, Jouse will take time to help you pull up a patient, answer a call light someone did not hear, or assist an overwhelmed nurse who has floated to our floor.

Alongside being a great team member, Jouse ensures every patient feels safe and assured. She thoroughly explains to her patients the plan of care in a way that helps alleviate their concerns. Furthermore, Jouse's willingness to translate for Spanish-speaking patients not only elevates our hospital's stand of care but also makes patients of all backgrounds feel advocated for. She is an exemplar of professionalism, maintaining composure in the face of even the most difficult challenges, and treating everyone with respect.
