It was my first time being pregnant, and having a baby gives me mixed emotions of being excited and nervous at the same time. I was admitted to labor and delivery, and all the nurses and doctors were so nice and very welcoming. The nurse assigned to me was Ms. Joy. She came to me, introduced herself, and made sure to attend to my needs immediately and make me as comfortable and safe as she could. Moreover, she has given me more than that; she has provided me with care, comfort, and a feeling of love and belongingness since my family couldn’t be with me all throughout my labor and delivery journey. This means a lot to me. After I delivered, she immediately let my mother come and see me, and I appreciate her for that since I wanted to pour out my emotions and share the great experiences I had in delivering my first newborn in Saudi German Hospital.
