October 2025 Honoree
Joy Butler, RN
Joy took care of me during my rehabilitation time at the Integris hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was knowledgeable, caring, and a delight to be around. She had a good attitude and kept my spirits up during my time in rehabilitation. I would definitely nominate her for this award for her excellent service at the hospital.
***
There were many times during my stay that Joy was kind and very professional. One specific instance that stood out to me was her holding my hand when I was scared and having a panic attack. She was the only one who could and would fix my bed correctly and comfortably, and she never made me feel ashamed for needing help in the bathroom. She always knew just the right things to do or say to make me feel heard and important.
