Joy's name fits her to a "T". From the minute that she first introduced herself to me as my nurse, my day got brighter and for some reason being in the hospital did not seem so bad. Her personality is very professional and at the same time loving, caring and reassuring.
During the time I was at Cedar Park Regional, I was confused and scared, not knowing what was going to happen next. Joy was my guardian angel, and from the moment she introduced herself, my life and attitude brightened. She cared enough to go to bat for me and I feel she went above and beyond what most of the nurses were doing for me at that time.
Having nurses like Joy is the greatest asset a hospital can have. They are the people that make you want to come back to a hospital and I can tell you that for me, that was the case.
