Joy McNaughton, RN

My 95-year-old father was admitted to the hospital. We have a difficult family dynamic. Joy managed the family situation and my father's illness with exceptional kindness. We observed her precepting a new nurse during his stay. She was so knowledgeable and encouraging to the new nurse. The most important part of the care for my father was her singing. My dad loves singing. Joy was sharing her gift of singing with him. It brightened his stay and also our day. And, my goodness, what a voice!!! She is an amazing nurse and person. As his children, we will be eternally thankful for the kindness and love she provided our beloved father. She connected on a level that was unique and heartfelt. It provided us with a bright calmness in the stressful time. Thank you, Joy, for everything.
