Joy was tasked with assisting surgical services nursing staff to complete covid testing on nursing home residents. She displayed exceptional leadership skills when tasked with testing the residents. She was thorough and efficient. Upon arrival, she took charge and was able to become a leader and use her nursing expertise to aid in efficient testing of the nursing home residents. We appreciate her willingness to jump in and adapt to unfamiliar situations with a positive attitude. She is always friendly to other staff and patients. She is an exceptional model nurse to many nurses to look to for advice. She embodies the CentraCare model that "the best begins with me" by focusing on patient care and being an exceptional role model for staff.
