Joy is a night nurse, but she helped a fellow co-worker out and switched to a day shift so that a nurse could have the day off and be with her family that needed surgery. During her first day shift, she was faced with some difficult situations and handled them beautifully. She explained things to both patient and family that assisted in asafe discharge home, even though the family member was uncooperative. She maintained composure and was professional the entire time.
Joy is consistently committed to our patients, fellow staff, and hospital. She always displays a smile and a positive attitude.

Joy was on top of everything. From the moment I was in her care, she explained to me what was going on. She went out of her way to make sure I stayed out of pain. Joy goes above her nursing duties. She is very kind and patient. She is very positive; it is obvious that she really enjoys her job and she represents Physician's Regional in a very upbeat manner.
