Joy Ugoh is honest to goodness perfect! She gives 110% for all she does; her tenderness is felt in her touch and smile!! Her attention is yours even if she has six patients to care for. She makes you feel as if you're the only one. Joy explained all she could to my son as to what actions would be taken to resolve the pain. Joy was respectful to my son and his pain she would tell him every time "I know this will hurt and I'm sorry but I have to help you get better." Joy tried to explain to my son that it will take some time but the doctors will find out what is wrong and will have a treatment plan that will work for him. She answered all his questions; even when they were asked several times. She took it upon herself to make sure his medications were given to him on time and doctors were called as needed. It wasn't good enough to make sure my son was comfortable, she made sure I was as well. Joy made me a pillow out of towels; she held my hands to pray with me. This precious lady went way beyond her call of duty to make this stressful time a bit easier with her loving care. Joy is top drawer and should be recognized as such!
Also, we didn't bring clothes and the infected areas needed to be kept clean. Joy found some loose shorts and a t-shirt for him to wear. How cool is that?
