Joy Valerio, RN

Joy is an excellent clinician and a compassionate care provider. She has been providing excellent nursing care and has been a long-time nurse in our Medical Surgical Unit. One instance that demonstrates her clinical knowledge is when she was able to provide in-depth diabetic education for a patient and also care for a complicated sick patient, including appropriately recommending that certain medications were held. We would like to recognize Joy.
