Back in November I had a terrible experience in the E.R. I was later admitted to the 4th floor in a terrible mood, to say the least. All I remember was one morning this adorable, cute, bubbly nurse came in. She was so attentive, kind, and fun. And the floor was crazy that day with three codes. But she never lost her smile. She never complained. She brought my spirits up for the rest of the stay.

Fast forward to December… I’m back again. As soon as I saw her through the glass, my whole day lit up. And that is hard to do with c-diff, trust me! She has been my nurse for at least three or four of the days during this stay. As usual, she was always right on top of things, always bright and bubbly. I wish this world we are living in now had a million more of her. I can’t thank her enough for putting a smile on my face every time I see her. She is one of the only people that can make a hospital stay fun. And she is so kind to her coworkers. I just love that girl. Thank you, Joya, for giving me a whole new perspective on Shady Grove hospital. You rock.

I just want to take a minute to recognize this amazing nurse who took care of my best friend. Her energy was amazing. She was always smiling and peeking in to make sure things were okay. I just can’t say enough great things about this girl. I really look forward to seeing her when I visit my friend. Thank you just for being you.
