Joyce Ogle, RN has been with Newport Medical Center (NMC) for 14 years and works in the Surgical Services Department. Joyce has repeatedly been recognized by her patients and their families for fulfilling Tennova’s guiding principles of being a servant leader, doing the right thing and never settling.

Another nominator wrote: On one special occasion, I watched as Joyce got an anxious patient a warm blanket and took her hand as she sat beside her. She spoke to her so compassionately and the patient began to relax and even smile. Joyce has that way about her…….making others smile.
