Joyce has always been willing to help everyone on the unit. She keeps a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Joyce is a pleasure to work with. She always provides quality care to her patients and exemplary service to families. She exhibits extraordinary teamwork and never rushes her work. Joyce never seems overwhelmed or frustrated and always stays true. I told her if I was ever in the hospital I would want her to be my nurse and her response was "I'll come".

There was a patient calling for pain medication, Joyce was not the nurse but still gave the medication without hesitation. She goes above and beyond the call of duty for patients and co-workers. I have seen her provide things a patient might need out of her own pocket. Joyce will never tell a patient that they have to wait. She takes her time to explain things in a way that the patients can understand. Joyce helps her co-worker with a smile and never complains.
