I met my first full day at the Sky Ridge Rehab Center. This was still new to me. She impressed safety foremost; she made sure I used the walker properly, especially when I was tired late at night. Joslyn emphasized proper safe walking with the walker: no leaning too far one way or another and staying within the walker. Basics are so important from there that the foundation to get stronger begins. I needed to take walks a few times each night to reduce pressure in the thigh and hip, and Jozlyn walked with me. I needed ice and water in the ice machine to keep the left thigh from swelling, and she happily changed out the ice as needed. She would scan me to give me the medications that I needed. It was all part of her responsibility, but done with ease, comfort, and positivity. Thank you, Jozlyn, for your skills, courtesy, professionalism, humor, strength, and dignity.
