Juanluis Escoto Valencia

I had the great pleasure of having Juanluis (Louie) Escoto as one of my NURS 101L skills labs students. From the first day of class, he came in with a beaming attitude and a spark of enthusiasm. This was a welcomed breath of fresh air. As he has progressed in his nursing career and completed my course, he has bloomed into a student and peer advocate who is well-known around campus. He is always willing to help his peers and staff at a moment's notice with no questions asked. So much so, that his continual inquiring and requesting to have an advisory council is coming to fruition because of his persistence and tenacity. It is clear to see that he is a great leader amongst his students and I have no doubt in my mind that he will be an outstanding nurse leader in his future career. Thank you for being true to yourself and for always having the willingness and strength to help those around you.
