February 2021 Honoree
Judd Collier, RN
Judd was not even the nurse who was assigned to our care but he did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable on a very busy night in the ER. He had so much on his plate and despite the patient load and being on orientation, he still showed heart and compassion, two very strong qualities to have as an RN. Judd helped us get discharged after looking for a specific piece of equipment that we needed and he kept close communication with the doctor. He kept updating us on our care when he wasn’t even our assigned nurse. After sitting in the hallway for hours, Judd had found a room for our family, in case our discharge was to be delayed so that my husband would be able to come in and see us instead of continuing to sit in his truck. He was also fantastic with my infant son (who was the patient during this stay).
Thank you, Judd, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
