Jude has been providing exceptional care for my mother, who came into Kaiser with extremely severe pneumonia. My Mom also has a very tricky ostomy with lots of unusual complications that requires very particular care. Because my mother is so ill and weak, she has been unable to care for herself and has been extremely anxious about it. Jude very thoughtfully brought up the need to let the staff help with this and worked patiently and respectfully with my mother, my dad, and me to talk about how to let others care for the ostomy. She's also been an inventive and thoughtful problem solver for all of the many open issues my mom is dealing with as she tries to fight this infection. Jude is a remarkable nurse and deserves to be recognized as such.
