My son, who is autistic and terrified of anything involving a doctor or a nurse, had a procedure at this hospital. Judy was our nurse, and she had him laughing the whole time. She even watched a bit of a cartoon with him even though I know she was busy, because it made it all better for him. Not only that, but she gave him a big hug, and me too! She made the whole experience less scary for us both. She also made sure he had his favorite coloring book to take home with him, which made him so excited. He is actually having surgery again there in a couple of weeks, and I'm praying she is our nurse again!
