March 2013 Honoree
judy johnson, RN
Judy was my OSC nurse and she took the time to explain everything she was doing, and the reasons why. When it was time to start the IV, my bed malfunctioned and wouldn't rise.
Judy actually got down on her knees to start the IV in my hand. She did it flawlessly and with very little discomfort.
After surgery, she again explained everything she was doing and the reasons why.
Judy stood out as very kind and gentle, anticipating my needs before I could even ask for anything. I felt trust in her care. I felt like my hospitalization mattered even though it was simple hand surgery.

Thank you, Judy, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
