Judy Moreno, MSN, RN, CPAN, RN-BC

Judy leads the way by being nationally certified and is committed to the highest standards of professional nursing practice. She is instrumental in the PPACU and supports her team in becoming nationally certified. In her tenure as a Nurse Manager, she has provided kind and compassionate care for her staff. She demonstrates her expertise with critical thinking and excellent care for both staff and patients. She is diligent in supporting pre- and post-surgical patients and their families during this difficult time. This leader promotes excellence in innovative project development, supports Evidence-based Practice, and disseminates this work locally and regionally. She was co-chair of the Voice Nursing Research and Innovation Council and now is a contributing member of this group and continues to improve to develop new practices. One practice she performed was providing vaccinations to children during the surgical procedure. This is a new innovation of practice that can be spread through KP SCL and be seen as best practice globally.
