Judy Ohler, RN
Judy has a mature, caring nature. She checked on us regularly, spent the right amount of time with us, made eye contact, used reassuring touch, always reassured us that she would be nearby, and showed us how to call her when needed.
As we were sorting through some photos, we shared with her, and she shared an appropriate amount of interest in our life story. She generously gave compliments and support.
Her patient education was thorough with demonstration, as needed. Plus, written discharge instructions. When ready for discharge she gave physical assistance respectfully while providing privacy. When we were ready to leave, she verbalized her concern and well wishes for the outcome of our cancer journey. She carefully turned us over to the aide who transported us to the valet station.
My husband said, “She’s such a nice, caring, mature nurse, and I really felt cared for.”
