Julee gave my sister, L, emotional and spiritual support during and after the time she was in her care. She was professional, kind, and loving toward L and the rest of our family. Holding her hands and praying with her before she even began her work. Julee spent time with her, and they got to know each other on a more personable level throughout the shift as they discussed each other's families. Then she had to leave. The decision was made to move to comfort care, and she was transferred out of MICU to a larger room on the floor in the Supportive Care Unit. For the next few days, Julee brought her family and friends to come and sing to L, showing so much spiritual support and love. Julee even sent a message to her prayer warriors in India to pray for L. We will never forget her caring heart. Julee attended L's funeral service to pay her final respects; we were comforted by her presence.
