I came into the cardiac hospital today for another heart cath after having one in May of this year. For that reason, my wife and I had some anxiety. Juli answered all of our questions and found the answers to others she was unaware of. It made us feel good when she said she was able to find something out and obtain the right information. Juli made me feel like I was her only patient. She allowed for my wife to stay with me until I left the room so she could hold my hand, and tell me she loved me one more time. That meant so much to her. We know that since COVID the hospital is more than likely short staffed. Juli never rushed. She was caring and compassionate for her patients and their family members. I appreciate everything she did for us. I feel she embodies everything that this awards stands for.

I was transferred to the heart and vascular wing of the hospital at about 2 am. This was after spending about 5hrs in the emergency room. Juli welcomed me immediately by asking if there was anything I needed. I felt relieved when Julie brought me extra blankets and water. During the remainder of her shift Juli continued to check on me. These simple things made me feel that I wasn’t alone.
