After working a 12-hour day shift on Saturday, Julia came into work on Sunday (her day off) to make one of our hospice patient's day. Julia made a homemade apple pie from scratch and brought it into our hospice patient and her family. She did this because the week prior, apple pie was the only food the patient wanted to eat. She also made Spartan badge holders for the patient and her 2 sisters who are all alumni of Michigan State. Julia always makes her patients feel like family.
