I wanted to take a moment to recognize two amazing women. Each day I see them working tirelessly to make this unit function. From morning huddles, pulling chest tubes, hanging numerous IV meds to all of the duties of being a charge nurse. These duties include dealing with numerous phone calls, dealing with call offs and staffing issues, and everything in between. No matter the crisis, they remain calm and fair. They do what is best for their fellow nurses, co-workers, and most importantly the patients. This unit could and would not run as well as it does if it was not for these two. I am so grateful to work with them!
