Julia is a rising star in her field and deserving of the DAISY Award for treating cardiac patients with care and outstanding customer service.
Why is it that millions of people watch the Olympics with passion? Because these world-class athletes train for a lifetime for the coveted gold medal, earning the "Best Athlete in the world" in their sport(s). It is my great honor and privilege to 100% and wholeheartedly "Dual-nominate" both Julia Kalchik and Amaliya Bileskaya for modeling "Human Kindness."  Why a "Dual nomination? Like the Olympic baton toss to the next runner to continue the relay race, optimal precision in timing, hand placement, and most importantly accomplishing the fastest time to win the gold. Metal is required. Teamwork is the key. Did you know you had World-Class, optimal Gold medal team players on your RN team? Well, you do!

From one 12-hour shift to another, both of these nurses, Amaliya Bilestaya and Julia Kalchik modeled first-rate competency and professionalism in their field when they verbalized the synopsis of care and symptoms at the beginning of the RN shift change for (me), the patient. Their seamless and caring approach to "passing the Baton" to their RN teammate was handled with precision, in a timely manner, and always engaging with me, the patient, as were Julia's friends being introduced to her fellow RN treatment, so Amaliya would continue Julia's extraordinarily high level of care. Julia is a cardiac RN and has a stellar skill set. I consider her among the top 2% of "Top North" RNs I've worked with in my 61 years on Earth. She is a rising star in her field and deserving of the DAISY Award for treating cardiac patients with care and outstanding customer service. Thank you, Julia.

Amaliya is deserving of this dual- nomination because she is a "Rock Star RN" in the cardiac unit. Her bedside manner as she dispenses meds and every detail of her work is done with passion, care, diligence, and LOVE. Amaliya was assigned to me for two of her 12-hour shifts, and she exemplifies the top 1% of all RNs in her field, from her friendly personality to treating and making patients (me) feel as if  I mattered. May both of you win as an Olympic RN team.
