Julia fits the description of a DAISY Nurse because of the excellent and compassionate care she ALWAYS provides. The quality of work she provides is natural and she makes taking care of the most difficult patient look easy. If you ask Julia about her patients, you will never hear her say, "I don't know or I haven't been here for a week so I am not sure." Julia will know every lab value, the time medications were taken, and how they are currently feeling without hesitation. Julia doesn't just know "her" assigned patients. She is also aware of what's going on with other patients that are not assigned to her because she will help anyone out and answer any patient need as it arises. Julia has a gentle hand, a humble personality, and a strong personal faith that makes patients feel calm and reassured. Julia is very approachable and has great communication with us. Even if she is busy, she will stop to ask about us and our families. Julia is a great nurse with a fantastic bedside manner. It is a great honor to work with Julia and she definitely fits her calling of being a nurse.

Julia Quigley is an exceptional nurse and gives outstanding care to our patients. She is always cool, calm, and collected no matter what comes into the emergency room. She always has the patients' needs at heart and is so compassionate with each one that comes in. You can always count on Julia to take her time with each patient making sure they understand what she is doing and why she is doing it and calming the fears of those patients. I would love to recall a specific patient encounter with Julia, however, the above describes her compassion with each patient encounter.
