My husband has been hospitalized for ten months now, facing many complications and uncertainties. On the days when setbacks outnumber progress, it was a comfort to have a nurse with genuine compassion for both him and me.
Julia has been far more than a nurse and caregiver. She is sweet, loving, and deeply attentive with a genuinely caring soul. I first recognized her presence on a day when my husband was not even her patient. Without hesitation, she rushed to his bedside to comfort him when he was in complete misery. In that moment, I saw her true compassion; she steadied me through some of the hardest hours.
Julia always made time to listen to my worries and made me feel heard. Our conversations inevitably ended with a big hug, and I always felt the love and support she offered. Her passionate heart deserves far more than an award. I am forever grateful for her kindness and dedication.
