Julia is a gifted RN. She goes above and beyond every day. She advocates for her patients and gives exceptional and speedy care. She is proficient in her skills and knowledge about treatment for disease processes seen in the ED. Julia is great at explaining her medical treatment in lay terms so that patients and family can understand. She has a great attitude whether the department is slow or busting at the seams. Julia stays calm and concentrated in the most emergent of situations. She has strong leadership qualities and leads by example. Julia remains professional in difficult situations. She empathizes with patients and family members when they are grieving and is the first to ask them if they need a chair, water or anything to make them more comfortable. Julia has your back and always follows through with her word. She sincerely cares about her patients and coworkers. Finally, she is always ready to have a good time and makes work fun. I'm so thankful to have the privilege to work with her.
