Julia Woelfel, RN

Julia was caring for a few patients on Telemetry who had been here for an extended time over the holidays. Julia recognized that the patients seemed depressed, and she felt that they would benefit from some fresh air and a change of scenery.

After reaching out to both the House Supervisor and the hospitalist for permission, the patients were taken outside. This small act of kindness meant a lot to the patients – but also made an impression on the physician for the large amount of compassion and attention to the full scope of patient needs you showed by providing truly holistic patient care.
