I was admitted to the hospital, and during that time, I was cared for by many different nurses. Throughout my stay, Julie and Veronica stood out in the best possible way. From the moment they stepped into my room, I felt like I was their top priority. They truly listened, showed compassion, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and supported. Their bedside manner was exceptionally warm, professional, and full of empathy, and it made a huge difference during such a vulnerable time. Not only did they care for me, but they also looked after my family, which meant the world to me. Even after I gave birth and was moved to postpartum, I did everything I could to request either of them again, because they made me feel the safest and most cared for. A week or two after I was discharged, I received a thank-you card from the hospital signed by Julie and Veronica. That small gesture spoke volumes and reminded me again of how much they truly cared. They made me feel seen. They made me feel heard. And this nomination is my way of saying thank you for the incredible care they gave me.
