Julie has been my supervisor for nearly 2 years. She has demonstrated professionalism, compassion, passion, and understanding. Julie is the type of boss who gets to know each of us individually. She takes time to learn what makes each of us tick. Julie is the kind of supervisor that I know I can confide in without fear of retaliation or anything of the sort. When it's time to celebrate something or someone, Julie goes above and beyond. During Nurse's Week, Julie prepared a theme for the week with fun activities to do every day of the week. She cares, and it's easy to see it in the way she treats all members of her team. With kindness in her heart, Julie has taken the compassion she has learned as a floor nurse and has applied it to her role as our unit director. Julie is also one of the wisest women I have ever met. She is very knowledgeable about nursing and helps PCTs and nurses alike on the floor. I am proud to call Julie Reichard my supervisor and role model.
