May 2026 Honoree
Julie Bass 2026, RN, CDCES
I am an insulin pump user with sensors, and I’m not very good with today's technology. I had a day when my pump alarmed and quit working. I didn’t know what to do. I called Julie, and she said if I could come in right away, she would try to help me.
She made phone calls to technical support and the pump company. They worked on it for quite a while and finally got it working. Her calmness and knowledge of what to do were outstanding! Without her help, my weekend would have been a mess, trying to figure out what to do. Her hands-on help was great, and she helped me more than I can say!
I would like to say thank you to Julie for all she does. She helps me a lot, and she is very good at her job!
