Some of the words used to describe Julie include consistent and hard-working, dependable and knowledgeable, compassionate and caring as well as skilled and friendly.

Julie always goes above and beyond to meet the needs of whomever she interacts with, be it patients, coworkers, or physicians.  And perhaps even more importantly, she always does so with such a positive attitude. She is a great mentor for new staff and a solid, dependable teammate to those of us who have been around the block with her.

Julie has an eye for detail is an excellent fit for the Preop Holding Area.  She ensures that each patient she sees is completely ready for surgery.  In an area where details really matter, Julie makes sure every T is crossed and every I is dotted before releasing that patient to the OR, ensuring that every preop requirement is met.

Julie’s anesthesia provider colleagues think the world of her and are always grateful to see her smiling face when they enter the Holding Area.  She has a sometimes unenviable role of holding surgeons accountable for preop requirements, but because she does so in such a collaborative manner, she holds their admiration and respect as well. She is an employee that can be counted on and a coworker that just makes the day better.  I am proud to have her as an employee and blessed to be able to call her my friend.
