Julie has given almost 42 years of service to GCGH, to say she is a dedicated employee would be an understatement. She is an employee that continuously puts patient needs and quality first. She strives to provide evidence-based care to every patient she encounters. We have a very successful Cardiac Rehab program and I believe this largely falls back to Julie and her ability to coordinate and lead the program. Julie always gives 100% when she is here, and she is someone we can always rely on. Even during her busiest times, Julie continues to see patients on 2-west for pacemaker checks as well as continuing to be an ACLS instructor. She is a patient advocate and is always willing to help her patients outside their cardiac needs, whether that is their mental health or financial status, she looks for resources to assist them. The commitment Julie has given her profession and our hospital is something you just do not get to see anymore and should be recognized in the highest honor.
