Julie was one of the best nurses my husband and I have ever encountered. She is very compassionate about her job and patients. She encouraged me every time I saw her and helped with my breastfeeding adventure. Julie was also very personable. She told us stories about birth, childhood, etc. We never felt so comfortable with a nurse before. I had a very fast C-section on a morning in June. My daughter did not want to wait and came early. She was breech and this was my first child. I was terrified, to say the least. Julie was there through the whole C-section and even hugged me and held me during the epidural. She also worked as we were being discharged two days later and went over all our papers, answered all our questions, and showed me how to use my breast pump. She always answered our questions to where we could understand. She said even if she didn’t work on Sunday, she would come in to say goodbye and help me with the breastfeeding questions. She took us to our car and hugged us! Julie is very special & you are lucky to have her! She even messaged me on MyChart a couple of days later to check up! Julie really deserves this award! *Every nurse we encountered was amazing!*
