Julie worked tirelessly to get her admitted to swing bed the same day the patient’s husband called and arranged for transportation via the fire department to get her to the hospital as her husband could not get her in the car.
Julie is a seasoned RN and has been practicing for over 20 years.  She is one of the best RNs I have ever worked with.  Every day she brings joy to the clinic with her positive attitude and smiling face.  She has a tremendous work ethic and is a wonderful team player.
Julie always works hard to make sure patients’ needs are met whether it is a triage call need or a patient who is having problems with coagulation control and needs extra assistance in the Coagulation Clinic.  She always follows through on any task or order that is created and has wonderful communication skills.  Julie is admired by everyone in the clinic.

Recently, Julie worked hard to get her patient successfully admitted into the Swing Bed Program at CVH.  Her patient had a lengthy stay in Riverbend Hospital where she was intubated during her ICU stay for a small bowel obstruction that included three surgeries and a rapid response.  The patient’s husband called the clinic to ask for advice as he was having difficulty taking care of her at home due to her weakness post-discharge. Julie worked tirelessly to get her admitted to swing bed the same day the patient’s husband called and arranged for transportation via the fire department to get her to the hospital as her husband could not get her in the car.

There is not any specific event I can pinpoint that explains how wonderful Julie Daniels is to our patients.  This nurse always goes above and beyond for every patient she cares for.  She is always happy and upbeat.  Even when she is busy, she helps anyone that needs it.  She is a vital part of our team and we could not function as well as we do without her!

The thing about Julie Daniels, there is not just "one" story that can define how incredible she is as a nurse, I have never met a person that goes above and beyond to help her patients. Not only is she incredibly helpful to our patients but the staff as well; she is always hopping around and asking others if they need help with anything, even if it's as simple as taking voicemails or performing a vaccine. Julie even stepped outside her role as an RN and worked for my physician when I was out sick, just to help out because we were short-staffed.
