Julie goes above and beyond for her patients. She advocates for them and makes sure they feel comfortable here at Brooks. Julie is the epitome of the DAISY Award. I arrived from Connecticut on Wednesday morning for the second time in two weeks. On my first day, I met her, and she had a warm and friendly voice from the start. My mother underwent serious spine surgery. My mom is now at Brooks Rehabilitation, recovering, which is why I am back to visit. My mother was barely mobile two weeks ago when I saw her due to her surgery and being in pain. She has come so far in just two weeks, and I am overwhelmed by the level of care she is receiving. Julie is above and beyond any expectation that I had. Since I live in Connecticut, it is very hard to have my mother in this state. I now feel so much better after seeing this person in action, the level of care she is receiving, and the way everyone works together! Nurses are truly earth angels, and Julie is at the top of the list!
