I was admitted to L&D on a Tuesday after work due to severe preeclampsia and was told I would deliver my baby at 34 weeks. Julie admitted me, prepared me and my mom for what to expect that evening as I was being placed on a magnesium drip for 24 hours. She made sure I had amazing nurses set up the next two shifts. I was in labor for over two days. The day I ended up delivering. Julie was my nurse for 12 hours. She was my advocate, my voice, and made sure my baby and myself were in the best care. It was the most intense labor and delivery that almost ended in a C-section. Julie was the voice that got me through and believed that I could do it. Words cannot describe everything she did for me and my family. The compassion and level of expertise she showed were indescribable. She was a true angel in my delivery room. My family and I will never forget her.
