From Patient:
I had the pleasure of having Julie as a nurse in the mother baby unit. She was fantastic and I received such great care while she was my nurse. However, Julie really went above and beyond when three days post-delivery I ended up the ER. Julie was working that night and recognized my name on the triage list. Julie came out to the ER waiting room to check on me and assess my situation for herself.
What really stood out was that Julie recognized me by name; I wasn’t just another patient. Julie remembered the details of my hospital stay without having to look them up. She remembered my hemoglobin level from memory!
I had the pleasure of having Julie as my nurse twice (mother/baby and ED) and both times Julie exemplified qualities that make her a skilled nurse and compassionate care-giver that far exceeded my expectations.
Thank you!
From Co-Worker:
Julie does anything and everything asked; she oriented to Mother/Baby as well as to supervision. Her core background is critical care. It is obvious that a driving force for her is to work hard to be a good team player-to meet organizational and team needs before meeting personal needs. She has a talent for compassionate care-never treating patients as a number or a disease state; always calmly, offering an environment of assurance.
