Julie has helped me throughout Adult Health I and II with understanding concepts and simply there for encouragement. She had shown exceptional leadership throughout our clinical rotation at Memorial Hermann Southeast through her continuous supportive attitude and always helping where it's needed.
Julie's inquisitive personality lead her to see a patient going into severe bradycardia on the Tele monitor on the unit. This discovery alerted the charge nurse which she then altered the RRT and eventually lead to a code in which the patient was resuscitated and transported to ICU. This act of inquisition is something I believe is needed in nursing because we operate on the why not simply on yes and/or no. She is kind and compassionate and believes in touching people through nursing. I admire her and aspire to have her same drive as we continue this journey through nursing school!
