I was struck by a car and broke my hip and tore ACL 9 Meniscus. I've now been here for 15 days and have had many interactions with many great nurses and aids. On day 13 of being a patient a nurse walked into my room. Her name is Julie she came in and immediately started going over my chart asking me how I was feeling and giving me encouragement in areas of what I could do to help myself get on my feet quicker with less pain. Julie actually listened to me and my story about my accident. My clothes were cut off after my accident. She was telling about her husband that passed away. I was telling her about needing shoes for my feet to be able to do my physical therapy so my right foot would straighten out. The next night she came in with shoes for me saying that her husband who passed wore the same size I wear. Not only did she go above and beyond doing this to meet my needs she threw in some clothes as well. She deserves to be recognized for this with the highest reward you could give her. She is the BEST.
