Julie Hinkle, PhD, RN, CNE

Throughout my time as the TA in her course, we had a few students each semester who struggled with the course. Each time, she reached out not only about why the student wasn't doing well but what she could be doing better as a professor to suit their learning needs. When Covid caused the nursing school to go completely online, the shift in learning modes was hard for a lot of students. During this time, Dr. Hinkle used her skills and experience with online courses to completely revamp her course and make it online-friendly while still maintaining the synchronous structure BSN students need.
