Julie was nominated by a patient's daughter-in-law, who commended her for the way she provided comfort care and ensured the patient didn't experience any suffering.
"I have never witnessed or experienced the professional and loving care that Julie provided," the nomination read. "We never had to leave that room once to look for Julie. She was there like a guardian angel. Thanks to Julie, [my mother-in-law's] passing was peaceful and left us with so much comfort, and at the end, she hugged and cried with us."
