Julie Miller 2022, BSN, RN

I was becoming concerned about my vital signs and elevated blood pressures. Julie’s ability to address my concerns, validate my feelings, and educate me on my situation, was extremely reassuring. She asserted that she would take the role of advocating for me by expressing my concerns to the doctors, so I could focus my time, energy, and attention on my baby in the NICU.

Throughout my stay, she alleviated my doubts about being a first-time parent by taking the time to listen to me and educating me so I could make my own opinions about major decisions and fill up my parenting “toolbox”.

Coming from the medical field, my husband and I truly believe Julie exemplifies what it means to go above and beyond in nursing. She is truly a DAISY!
