Julie Nguyen, BSN, RN
When I came to Banner, I had already been in another hospital multiple times. I was in preterm labor three times and had pancreatitis on top of it. I started getting very frustrated with nothing happening and my anxiety was going high. I had wanted to go home multiple times. I even started getting frustrated with my nurses. Instead of getting upset at how I was acting and feeling, Julie worked hard to help calm me down and made me feel very comfortable with staying after all. I couldn’t ask for a better nurse during this time.
Instead of taking the easy way out by discharging me, Julie moved past the anxiety and attitude and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and not embarrass me. I then went into labor and had my son. I am thankful that I didn’t leave. Thank you, Julie, for being a friend and a nurse during one of the hardest times in my life. I will always remember that you are a very kind soul going far in this world spreading love and kindness each day.
